Getting a Valuation

Griffin's offer free, no obligation, in person or Online Valuations and we do this in several ways. You can use the online form on this page, call or email us, visit us at the office or attend one of our Valuation Days. Further details can be found on our Valuations page.

Fees

Our vendor’s commission is a straightforward 15% (subject to VAT). This fee includes insurance and storage. There are no other charges, such as lotting or photography fees.

On the occasions where electrical goods need to be safety checked by an electrician there will be a minimum charge of £5 per item.

Collection Service

Items of reasonable size can be collected by one of our team of experts during a valuation visit or at another pre-arranged time. There is no charge for this service. For large items and collections a specialist carrier may be required which may incur a charge.

Payments

We endeavour to make payment of net sale proceeds to the vendor between 21 and 30 days after the sale.
